Protection and Rehabilitation District

​The District is a government body formed under the State of Wisconsin Statutes Chapter 33.  It levies taxes on the riparian property owners for the purpose of maintaining and promoting a healthy lake. It is served by an elected board of 5 commissioners as well as representatives from Waushara County and the Town of Leon. Particular areas of emphasis include weed control, Clean Boats Clean Waters, and water clarity. This group meets 3 times per year on the same days as the Property Owners Association, and once over the winter months.
